When: November 18, 2022 – May 7, 2023

Thierry Mugler: Couturissime is the first retrospective to explore the fascinating, edgy universe of French designer and creator of iconic perfumes Thierry Mugler. A fashion visionary, Mugler established himself as one of the most daring and innovative designers of the late twentieth century. His bold silhouettes and unorthodox techniques and materials—including glass, Plexiglas, vinyl, latex, and chrome—made their mark on fashion history.

Where: FOAM, Amsterdam

When: Until the 4th of December, 2022

Foam is proud to present Blessings from Mousganistan, a solo exhibition of work by self-taught photographer Mous Lamrabat (Morocco, 1983). Hope and beauty are central to Lamrabat's work. His work stimulates and sometimes shows a confrontational fusion of the different worlds he grew up in. In doing so, the artist uses aesthetics and humour to create powerful new stories around sensitive topics such as racism, religion and women's rights.

Films, documentaries, reportages and sound archives featuring Picasso reveal different aspects of his life and work in the Picture Picasso (Picasso à l'image) exhibition. These audio-visual excerpts drawn from the museum’s collection are presented on the second and third floors alongside artworks. Taken together, they create a vivid picture of Picasso, retracing his life and career from the 1930s to the 1960s. There is also a digital reconstruction of Picasso’s studio in La Californie, the villa in Cannes where he lived from 1955 to 1961.
