Noémie Goudal's (b. 1984) practice involves the construction of ambitious staged, illusionistic installations within the landscape, documented using film and photography. Her interventions are under pinned by rigorous research examining the intersection of ecology and anthropology, interrogating the limitations of theoretical conceptions of the natural world. The artist has graduated from the Royal College of Art (UK) in 2010 with an MA in Photography. She has exhibited internationally and had solo shows at a number of institutions such as The Photographers' Gallery, Foam Amsterdam, Kiran Nadar Museum of Art to name but a few. Her work was featured at the Azerbaijan Pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale.

Goudal often works directly within the landscape, sometimes inserting photographic backdrops into a scene before re-photographing it. In addition to her photography, she makes video work that is thematically linked to her photos.
The artist is represented by Galerie Les Filles du Calvaire and Edel Assanti.
