Event Horizon by Kacper Kowalski (signed)

Winner of International Photography Awards - IPA

"Event Horizon" is the fourth book by aerial photographer Kacper Kowalski. It reveals the most intimate parts of the artist's soul, showing his introspective approach to nature and the discovery of his vulnerability and feelings through flying in a gyrocopter around Poland, the author's home country. "With the onset of winter, I embarked on a journey in search of harmony. Driven by instinct, I ventured further and further, until I exceeded the limits of rationality," says Kowalski.

"Event Horizon" is both a standalone book and a companion piece to his previous book, Arché. Both projects were made in similar locations and physical conditions. Despite their similarity, they are very different on a meta-level.

The book "Event Horizon" was awarded first prize in the nature category in the American International Photography Awards IPA competition, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2023.

Beautiful Photography Book

I really liked the way the book was printed and designed to lay flat. I also like the eclectic selection 1605 stocks. I will continue to check the site and get more photographers books here.
