Photographer and designer George Mayer (1985) is from Nizhny Tagil, Russia. He holds a Degree in environmental design from the Ural College of Arts and Crafts. Mayer is also a member of the Russian Union of Art Photographers. In 2017, George Mayer won one of the most prestigious world photography contests Sony World Photography Awards where with the project "Light. Shadows. Perfect woman", he took the first prize among the professionals in nomination Portraiture. After the contest, the project was published in numerous photo publications and exhibited in Somerset House, London. Along with art photography, George Mayer works in commercial and fashion photography. Since 2009 he has been collaborating with many eminent modelling agencies and stylists. International companies such as Adobe, Atlantic Records, Alfa Romeo, Lalique to name only a few have purchased Mayer's work. Some of the photo masterpieces of the artist can also be seen on covers of music albums of Chris Brown, "Bullet for my Valentine", "Operator", on book covers of Mario Vargas Llosa and Bernard Werber and also in films "Bright" (2017) and in renown series "Fargo".
