Jeroen Krabbé 80 - Picturing 8 decades

The exhibition, presented as eight monumental triptychs, celebrates the artist Jeroen Krabbé's 80th birthday and takes visitors on a personal journey through his life. In addition to the paintings, the jubilee show offers a deeper glimpse into Krabbé’s life through personal photographs and memorabilia.

Saul Leiter: An Unfinished World

This major retrospective exhibition celebrates the work of American artist Saul Leiter (1923–2013), regarded as one of the most influential photographers of the 1950s in the United States and a pioneer of color art photography. The exhibition features over 200 works, including black-and-white and color photography, as well as his abstract paintings. For added context before visiting, you might enjoy the 2015 film Carol by Todd Haynes, starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara, which captures the essence of Saul Leiter's work through its use of his distinctive muted color palette as a visual influence.

This comprehensive exhibition showcases over 200 works that explore the rich history of photography in the United States. The exhibition features iconic pieces by renowned photographers such as Sally Mann, William Klein, Robert Frank, Richard Avedon, and Diane Arbus to name but a few, alongside surprising works by lesser-known creators.

DIOR – A New Look

This exhibition explores the legacy of Christian Dior, founder of one of the world’s most iconic couture houses. It also highlights how current Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri reinterprets Dior's vision for modern women, combining classic designs with contemporary elements, such as feminist slogans. Dutch photographer Viviane Sassen contributes a special photo series for the show, bridging Dior’s timeless elegance with innovative artistry.

Ilona Plaum: Presence 

Presence is the first solo institutional exhibition by Dutch artist Ilona Plaum. The show features forty works, including new pieces created specifically for the show, exploring Plaum's poetic universe where perception is questioned. Through three-dimensional models, painted works, and photography, Plaum creates illusions that play with surface, depth, and shadows.
