In the spring of 2019, photographer Bastiaan Woudt made portraits of Amsterdammers in the mobile studio that moved around different parts of the city.

The resulting photobook, Amsterdam Portraits, shows Amsterdammers of very different ages, backgrounds and professions - from well-known actors to anonymous passers-by, from schoolchildren to pensioners, all well-captured by Bastiaan Woudt. The project gives a beautiful picture of the diversity that the city exudes and what Amsterdam looked like in 2019.

Rustige lay-out waardoor de beelden nog beter uit komen.
Prachtige zwart-wit beelden met een rustige lay-out zodat ik ook rustiger naar de foto's kijk. De tekst met naam en beroep zijn niet opvallend. Vooral het papier en de druk en die erop lijkt te liggen vind ik heel erg fijn en word ik blij van.

Amsterdam in portretten: wat een groot plezier! Als afscheid voor iemand die 40 jaar in Amsterdam gewoond heeft maar nu toch vertrekt

A great collection of Portraits
Amsterdam Portraits is a very well designed project and the quality of the photographs from Bastian and the high quality print makes it one of my recent preferred photobooks. I am going through each page time after time!
