The world's first bookstand was created already in 1881 by the American inventor La Verne Noyes. One of his breakthrough inventions was a book holder designed to support large books such as dictionaries or thick religious books, open or closed. -
Paris Photo 2021 Highlights
This year's long-awaited 24th Paris Photo edition that took place on the 11th through 14th November was situated in a different place from the usual Grand Palais exhibition hall.
